Why not use the free copy of Real Player ? But keep in mind that some of the stuff on youtube is copyrighted to the author who put it on there as well as Youtube itself , so you could have some legal ramifications there . Some of the stuff that people put on youtube ( such as music videos or music ) is copy righted to someone else such as the music author or to the record company and not to the person who put it on youtube . In fact, youtube tells you that they prefer that you didn"t download their content and they tell you not to upload any copyrighted material to them . Real player allows you to download the videos , convert them to different formats , ( you can even convert audio only and not video after you download the video if you want to ) . Then you have to use another program to make the video and another one to burn the dvd , unless you have a program that can do both . Thats using the free version of Realplayer . Realplayer has a dvd burning function that comes with the pro version tht you have to pay like $29.99 - $49.99 for . Can"t remember the exact amount , but it"s in that amount range . Don"t know if the professional version will actually let you maake a movie like windows movie maker will , but it supposedly will burn them . Realplayer will also play different format types of videos .
