Coyotes and other predators came about the same day as goats and cattle, seems like a good enough reason to me to not exterminate them. I have raised birds and goats, and a good dog has always prevented predator losses, and this is in the mountains of Alaska with bears, wolves, foxes, and coyotes running around.
