two things stand out to me,one is you cant get homestead exemption on a "seasonal residence".And where you get mail is certainly not an issue because i can legally forward my mail anywhere in the world. Should be able to go to your county tax office and get the issue with your seasonal residence resolved with no problems i would think. surely would have to show up in person though.Have them call the assesor.their job is to keep the records straight.
