there are 10 new ones just above my property here in Berkshire County, Ma> construction started about 3 years ago and they came online this year. Since the construction started the local deer population has disappeared. The turkeys have vanished also. There is a low level hum from them that I can hear but you get use to it. I am in favor of them as it will lower our dependance on oil The visual impact is strong but I like it. Just hope the wildlife gets use to them and comes back.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
