I wouldn't think the 510 or any of the Long or Longtrac would be similar Ford. That series and the Hesston tractors were Fiat based and maybe related to the New Holland TNA series. The Long Farmtrac series should be basically Fords with Ford engines, trans, brakes, hoods, etc. The company that made Fords & New Hollands for about 20 years seemed to continue that line of tractors , calling them Farmtrac, after Fiat got the rights to build NH. (Based on two Wall Street Journal articles).
