About 3 weeks ago, someone in their customer service said they would split a set of chains and mail them to me (can only ship a 70 pound package to an APO address)....
FF to yesterday 1330 their time, I looked up the chains again ($260 something), emailed customer service what I wanted along with my address and asked how to pay. Got an answer that they couldn't do it. Sent the other email where someone said they would... Got no answer, so called, lady said she'd have to check it out and would get back to me. 1500 their time I get an email saying no problem, just do the order as normal and they'll send me an invoice so I can use paypal.
Went to order and the chains were $317.... Emailed them with WTF and she said that the prices just went up and would be going up again 20% in january (guess that meant I better hurry).....
Asked if it was normal practice to do that and she said "we raise prices when we want" and wouldn't honor the price that they were when we started talking an hour and a half before....... Thanked her and told her to shove them up ....
Found the same ones at a place in NC for $240, waiting to see if they'll ship them to me.
