I don't know how much this helps, but when my stepson died, my wife began getting nutty depressed. I told her that for whatever reason God decided that Todd's watch was to be secured. He no longer worries about responsibilities etc. No one depends on him. The final entry on his life's log has been made. For whatever reason God makes his decisions on, he has decided that your watch is not secured. People still depend on you. You continue to have resposibilities. You have two other children and a husband(me) that depend on you to do things. Until the point that God decides that your watch is ready to secure, you must continue to meet your responsibilities. You must continue to do those things that God has for you to do. I don't know if Todd would have wanted you to move on, yet, I know that God does. I don't think that Todd would want his mother to be reduced to a vegitable for the rest of her life.
The same goes for you. Your friends have no more resposibilities, you, however, continue to have duties to preform, and God still has a job for you to preform. We don't forget those we have lost, but, we are not dead. We have to continue to meet our responsibilities, and set an example. As a living person you are subject to duties, and just because a dear loved one has passed, doesn't change that. At some point God will decide that your watch is secure, but until then, keep the faith and move forward.
I'm sorry that isn't sensitive, but, we who God has choosen to0 continue living, still have duties to meet. My email is bobhuntress@gmail.com and If you want to chat, drop me a line, and I'll give you my number if you want. I am somewhat more tender in person.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
