All for it myself,ive seen the videos also,and seen wrecks (too many) happen while driving when i was on the road alot. But its just not phones,saw a bunch of teenage girls hit the back of a semi once while they were hollering at a couple of boys walking down the road,truck slowed to make a turn and the girls never even noticed. Driving a mustang convertable and threw one right out and slammed her into the back of the truck,didnt kill her but should have ,she'll never move again. I already was stopped behind them with my flashers on before they even hit,saw it coming as sure as anything. Saw another 65 chevy pickup drive right under a semi trailer,took the top off that pickup and cut that boy right half in two as slick as if you had used a saw. He Was texting and ran a red light. Had one total a car for me two years ago when he hit the back of my car about fifty,he was looking at a map.never even hit the brakes.I saw him top a little rise behind me where i was stopped for a van full of church kids making a left turn. spun the wheel because i knew he couldnt stop so i wouldnt hit the van, and closed my eyes to try to keep glass out of them. he never even hit the brakes! did you see the show on mythbusters where they tested this? i just happened to see it ,i dont watch it as a rule. They had a police course set up. Drove it sober with no distractions and did pretty good,then got legally drunk and and tried it . Got about half the score. Then they had the drivers simply use a hands free cell phone while driving it,every single one without fail did the very worst just by having their mind occupied by a conversation. They didnt test it but the police guy running the test course said just having someone in the front seat carrying on a conversation was almost as bad.
