I lost my wife seven years ago. From lung cancer. Non Smoker.At first it was hard to take and I sat around blaming myself for not doing more for her. Then a good friend told me.There was nothing you could have done. So just remember the good times you had with her. Get on with your life. I lost a year of my life blaming myself.
All I can say is take your time adjusting to your new life. Don't sit around thinking about it. Just remember the good times you had with her. Those things can never be taken from you.
