My prayers are with you- better half of 41 years started this process 3 months ago- had mastectomy and reconstruction, started 5 months of chemo 10 days ago. Caught early, due to annual mammograms, but still difficult for her to go through. Spot was behind the nipple, small, only .9 cm, thus the mastectomy. But advanced into the second lymph node to stage 2. We are very optimistic- my sister (now 80!) had mastectomy 16 years ago, and no recurrence- think about med advances in the ensuing years. Mrs taught K-1-2-6 for 35 years, and the support from co-workers and students has been over-whelming. One DIL was her K student, then her aide in High School. We have been blessed with so much support from our community- just like you will be from THIS community, of tractor friends.
