Yes Dell, I do know the reason. I was not arguing for or against the use of anti-freeze. In the previous threads, there has been discussions regarding the difference in weights of the various products. I am simply trying to post the info concerning weight , and am very happy to allow everyone to choose the product that suits them. I don't feel that I am qualified to determine which products are better for anyone except myself. Also I will point out tho that the washer fluid comes in several strenghs and you can't make the statement that it will not freeze. I currently have two gallons, one of which is good down to 32 degrees and the other down to 20.Stronger is available. Have a great day.
