Wade, that is why I tend to support the original post, despite my reservations. What you are saying with this "Different things to different folks" stuff leads to cumpulsary, "Merry Dark Solsice to all enlightened heathrens(I am aware that the word used actually means prarrie chicken)" I don't support Satan. I am a Christian, not a generic spiritual type faith in some ambiguous higher power. I serve God! If God is to be glorified by saying "Merry Christmas", I will say "Merry Christmas". I have reservations, but I can never support evil. Satan can care for his own. I support my country and my God. I am an American, which means I don't support Ramadan or a slew of other foriegn celebrations, and I am a Christian, which means I don't celebrate Soltice! If Christmas means something to you that is not the virgin birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, I am not celebrating that day. I am not celebrating the birth of Nimrod, the darkness of soltice or whatever Ramadan comemorates! If you have a moral avertion to Christmas due to it's Catholic or Pagan roots, I understand, and don't expect you to force yourself to wish me a Merry Christmas, yet, I will not wish anyone a joyous dark day of Satan!
