I gave my 14 year old girl her first driving lesson in the AZ desert in my original Bronco, three on the tree 4WD. It wasn't too long that the armstrong steering, and the sand got the best of her and she knocked over (killed) a small Sahuaro cactus. I made her get out, say a prayer, and we had a short memorial service for her first fatality. It evidently it made a big impression on her for I have heard the story from a number of her friends 20 years later.
