Okay, update time. So, a while back I burned several DVD videos and most worked on peoples home DVD players just fine with video and audio HOWEVER a few 'dudes" reported they had video but no audio........
Im using Windows 7 with Windows Movie Maker and I tried some of the hints yall suggested butttttttttt it wouldnt let me change the recordring format to MPEG etc it does AVI (or is it WMV??) ONLY with no options NOR does it let me choose open or closed sessions. It finishes the DVD then it finalizes n spits it out and it works on MOST folks DVD players. I tried Real Player (basic free version not the upgrade) and Corel Video Suite but couldnt get them to work right NOR did I find that they will allow open or closed or MPEG formats either, both were AVI I think.
SOOOOOOOO Im at Office Depot today to buy some blank DVD's and they have DVD - R and DVD + R (thats what I used before) and I ask this under 25 nerdy lookin pimpled pencil necked geek store clerk WHICH SHOULD I USE tellin him how some didnt work before in some DVD players. He tells me older DVD players required DVD - R while the newer ones will play either + or - ????????????
SOOOOOOO Im recording DVD- R now and so far they play fine in my DVD so I will pass some out to those who couldnt get them to work before and if they do maybe that pimpled pencil necked geeky kid knew what he was talkin about
