If you're trying to calculate the odds that you will be getting to keep the truck, it would probably go down to if the truck is stolen, and if the theives go to jail. If they go to jail, they won't be getting the truck back. Do you know of many others who have experienced the unexplained lose of large iron stuff, tractors, implements etc? If you are the only victim that they can be charged for, I figure that even if they are convicted, they will likely only get probation from our revolving door judical system. They will then want their truck back, meaning they would be motivated to pay or repair what they must to be reunited with their means to ply their dishonest trade. Let's be serious. They are going to want to get right bact to their careers, and will need a good heavy duty truck to haul other peoples stuff away. The court would take a bite out of crime, if they just banned these fellows from owning a truck for a few years.
