tom, l have a new 150 with the ecoboost and it does get that kind of mil age, the same or better than your standard chevy v-8, but when it comes to power and acceleration it will leave your small v-8 in the dust and towing my 9600lb tractor on a 3500lb goose neck is just amazing how it pulls the hills here in the northeast. just my 2 cents, chuck
