Frank, My trailer security consists of a GorillaGuard, which protects the ball, 2 master locks, one is protected by 4x4 box tubing. Also have a wheel lock, which is more for show. Been thinking of a design to protect the other master lock. My experience is that bolt cutters can cut locks and chains in a heart beat, that is why I came up with the box tubing idea and use the GorillaGuard.
PLEASE DON'T TELL ME AGAIN THAT LOCKS ARE TO KEEP HONEST PEOPLE HONEST. If nothing else, my efforts may take a thief a little longer and hopefully get caught.
I remove my jack handle to put a mirror on the jack post. It make it real easy to see while I'm backing up to hook up to the trailer.
I would be interested in seeing if someone has a design to protect the hitche's padlock from bolt cutters. George
