When I posted the picture of the basket of oranges yesterday, I forgot to post a pic of my old juicer so as I'm about to make a glass of fresh squeezed OJ this AM, I grab the phone for a quick photo or two. My mom had a juicer like this when I was young. She said I could have it and then I found this one on Ebay and bought it too. It's a bit uglier so it's the one I use and I just treasure Moms and keep it stored. Hers is green and this one is white and labeled "Sunkist". It works great, is a huge step up from doing it by hand and I didn't have to buy one of those fancy high priced juicers of today. I cut 4 oranges in half since I wasn't sure what I needed for one glass....I couldn't wait..I'll fill a pitcher full later! Drop a half orange on the spinning cone and push down... And 2 1/2 oranges later I have a glass full. You just can't imagine how tasty these South Texas oranges are...mmmm...mmmm...mmmm. Hey Larry, yes I would be glad to trade some oranges for turnips....but don't 'ya think the postage would be a bit pricey? Yes, I love turnips too!
