My MIL didn't like me marrying her youngest daughter and told her you're not living with us. She told her mother she would be living near Ft Bragg NC when I was stationed at FT Bragg during the Korean War. When my FIl died she moved in with us for 14 years. She had 2 homes to live in. Had to drive her to SC every Fall to spend the Winter in FL. Her grandson would drive up to SC to get her. In the Spring we had to drive to SC to get her. She wouldn't fly, but when she died in 1984 she was flown to PA in a body bag from FL. Hal Here's a pic taken in 1956. Been together going on 59 years.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
