I have sold a lot of stuff on Craigslist. When I first started selling, I didn't put my phone number on the ad. From time to time, I would get E-mails from someone willing to buy whatever I was selling, without actually coming out to see the item. They would contact me later to "arrange for shipping". I would E-mail them back giving them my phone number and asking for theirs. I would never hear from them again. Since then, I always put my phone number in the ad and I specify "no-E-mails please".
