Thank you guys.. For some reason I couldn't find just that.. I'll bet the site I ordered the part from had just the same as you guys posted.
It turns out dad and I did hook the sensor up improperly.. I just opened it up and had a look..
I also tossed in my damp towel and wash rag from my shower tonight and turned it on, and the lights did as they did before I had my breakdown last week.
Tomorrow I'll wash me a load and keep a eye on it to be sure it's fixed, but at least now the timer was turning.. The load I washed earlier ran for 40 minutes, and the timer never moved.. Good thing I didn't toss it in and hit the road like I usually would. Gas bill is rough enough as it is.. it don't need any help LOL
Will post another follow up tomorrow (well, today now) at some time..
