Kris, hopefully coincidental.. LOL.. I know if it did break it isn't because the better half wants a new one, as I am the "whole".. LOL
I'm sure a new dryer wouldn't hurt a thing, however, the $10 part that broke was a lot easier to swallow than a new dryer right this moment.. I'm sure in the long run, a new one would pay for itself though in gas savings.
The washer has a few problems too, but I have learned to "improvise and overcome" lol..
My home is a "manufactured home" that is on a basement.. This summer we're going to put in a new furnace and relocate it to the basement, and at that point, we also plan to relocate the washer/dryer (and I'm hoping to be able to afford new then) and I will keep the old and "less good" to wash my shop rags/clothes.
