No, no, you use hard cider not vinegar...God, that's awful stuff to try to drink. Put the fresh made(filtered, but not pasteurized) apple juice in a good, new (Used once...for whiskey) whiskey barrel, add about 10 lbs of brown sugar, 2 lbs of raisins, 2 ounces of wintergreen oil and a little yeast and put it down in the basement to let it work off. "Bung" it tightly but put a copper line through the upper bung down into the liquid cider and out into a quart mason jar 3/4ths full of water..and watch the bubbles. When the bubbles nearly stop after about 6-8 weeks try the cider. I hope you remembered put a spigot in the end tap in the barrel. Happy Days and some good sleep at night. that stuff is sneaky like you can't believe...but good for arthritis.
