The internet has a site that is used by law enforcement for scrap metal theft. If you, or your local department use the site, it will automatically alert scrap buyers within a 250 mile radius of the reported theft. It does work for those of us in the enforcement end of things. It is also part of my classroom instruction for yearly valuable metals training. I'm seeing alot of messages with theft of metals and this may help you, help us.
