Having been raised by a Master Sgt & First Sgt, an E-7, I know how they can be. He retired just as the NCO super ranks, E-8 & E-9, were brought into the chain of command. Anyhoo, my Dad would have known better than to run his mouth in an inappropiate location. He taught me the same. When I enlisted one of the few things he told me...'Keep your mouth shut & don't volunteer for anything.'. I agree with MarkB, it may be the first onset of dementia. I see it in my ma-in-law. Most of the time, she's OK but will just up and say the most off the wall sh*t you ever heard.

Today's Featured Article - Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
