My winch stopped winching last weekend. Found the problem; There was once a fiber disc bonded on to this.
These steel discs needed some work too.
Got the new eBay parts in the mail today and it went together pretty easy.
I got a little work done. All of these young black oaks died off from wilt (I think). There was about 10 just like these two on one hillside.
The only trouble is....
The strange weather makes cattle act strange too. I don't know what these girls were doing but they all stampeded up the valley to greet me when I was walking home. Then they just wandered around a bit and went back to their hay.
My dog Brandy finally got the courage to cross my "bridge" instead of swimming. On the way home, I was thinking about swimming across just to cool down, though.
That line of work is at a standstill anyway (until winter gets here). Nobody needs to buy any wood until that happens anyhow, I guess.
