Due to the difference in construction techniques, the "forces" that are in a bias tire are different than in a radial...at high speed. The two tire types have different "handling" characteristics and thus, you need to be watchful of tube type if you are using tube type tires...at highway speeds.
That said...and considering that you are dealing with a slow machine...I don't believe you have anything to worry about. IFFFFFF it were a highspeed machine, then that would be a different consideration.
Check your tire to be sure it is a "tube type" and not tubeless. If by chance it is a tubeless tire, I would pop in a tubeless valve and forget it.
