I have lived all over the country, Spent a lot of time in Fl, Pa, Oh, NC, Texas, and I found a home in Far Western NC, Murphy area where there are excellent school, mountains, farms and lakes within 20 miles . Friendliest people I ever met. Atlanta is 120 milers, Blue Ridge Ga., 15, Chattanooga about 80 (Finest medical care I have ever had, six operations, four joints and cancer)Knoxville(UTENN) 100 and so on. If I had to live in a city again I would choose Chattanooga hands down. The Tenn river is very beautiful. Tenn has no income tax but has an 8 or more sales tax. There are small towns within 50 miles of Chattanooga that are just gorgeous. Thats my contribution.
