How do you know the water pump is the problem??? You could have a stuck thermostat or a plugged radiator. It might even have blown a head gasket.
Run it and see if the radiator hose above the thrmostat is getting hot. If not then change the thermostat. Much cheaper and easier then a water pump.
Then run the engine with the radiator cap off and see if the water is moving. If it is then the water pump is fine and the radiator is plugged. If not then it MIGHT be the water pump.
Also run it and see if you see any bubbles in the radiator when it is running. If you do then you have a blown head casket or cracked head.
So you need to spend some time finding the true problem rather than just throwing parts at it.
