If the pump is not leaking out the weep hole and the bearing is tight the water pump is probably not your problem.I just changed one that had 12,000 hours on it and it was leaking ,not heating. There have been thousands of water pumps changed on equipment to cure a heating problem and it didn't fix the problem. Check for plugged radiator,inside and out,restricted air flow,stuck thermostat,collapsed radiator hose, check the coolant level and see if it is circulating. Could be a cracked head, blown head gasket. Sorry if your are more confused than ever. Just don't jump to conclusions.Did the problem start all at once or did it build up over time? Good Luck
