I've got two of the Henry .22 lever actions. Standard size and boy's rifle. For a new gun - they're great. Excellent customer service also. A real person on a USA phone that speaks North-American-English.
The new Henry's aren't near the level of craftsmanship of my old Marlins and Winchesters - but for new shooters are great guns.
I don't think anybody has ever made a better .22 lever-action then Marlin. Same with big bore. Marlin #1 and Winchester #2 in my opinion. I've got the Marlin .444, .35, and several 30-30s.
