I wish I still had that magazine article from many decades ago about "Farming in the 80s". Artists renditions of what they thought tractors would look like by then. As I recall,it was a 4 wheel drive,all 4 tires the same size,a body kinda like a Corvette,bubble top,something new for a tractor....air conditioning. It had 4 PTO shafts,front,back and both sides. One of the tillage tools that is was supposed to pull I remember,was a sonic tiller of some kind. Used sound waves off of probes that you pulled along in the ground.
There were big domed hog facilities too as I recall. Been a long time ago,but not a whole lot of the pictures were anything that came to reality. Kinda like the flying cars we were supposed to have by the end of the 60s.
