Hello i was wondering if anyone had any experience with Leyland tractors? There is a Leyland 252 for sale in my area, NE Ohio. I believe it is a 1972, owner says 1600 hrs. diesel, with remotes. he says everything works, and seems in good shape. Would this be a good replacement for my ford 600, for general yard/utilty work? Any info on tractor reputation or parts availability would be good. I would really be better off with a compact 4WD, but they are out of my price range. This would give me diesel, live pto, PS, (i assume)remotes etc over the gas ford for asking price of 3000 dollars. Im guessing it might be equal to ford 3000 or 4000 for less money . True?
