My uncle has a 250 and it'll stomp my 320D. It is built more solid and is smoother to operate. When he bought it new the dealers brought out a Cat and a Bobcat skidsteer for him to try. The Cat was new but after a couple hours of work it wouldn't steer going one direction. When it did work the JD had better breakout force and the engine was unbeatable. The Cat's engine would stall out but it did seem to have better rollback. Even the dealer who brought out the Cat admitted the JD engine had them beat hands down. The Bobcat wasn't to bad but the dealer network wasn't to good around here. The JD that was brought out was a rental machine. Needless to say he bought a new JD and loves it. The bigest drawback on his was the self leveling never worked right from new. It was in the shop several times but they finally told him there wasn't anything left for them to do. The seats weren't as nice as the one in mine and I don't think they had a block heater in them either. I won't swear to that.
