I agree. Either enlarge existing refineries or build new ones. There are several proposals (Williston ND newspaper) for new ones in the immiediate area.
Guess no one uses petro commodities in the upper west and upper midwest.
They (whoever they are) prefer to ship crude to the Gulf refineries (where they have crude, off shore and available by tankers) to make what, you guess it, more money for themselves. Would not having more refineries in upper regions be responsible thinking for a couple of reasons. Lack of hurricanes and lessening the potential of attacks by terrorists and other foes of the US and Canada.
