1) type post 2) copy post in case gets blown up 3) click "Preview Your Reply" 4) input password, submit password Will be at "Submit Post", if ' is ", go to step 5 5) back arrow to where typed post 6) forward arrow to submit post Will be back at "Submit Post", ' should be ' now, so can now click "Submit Post"
Sometimes when back arrow to where typed post, and usually not, the typing is gone. If that's the case, just paste your typed post back into the box that you copied earlier.
I found this out by accident one time when mistyped or mispelled something and noticed that the ' became " as well. I back arrowed to correct the spelling, and said the heck with the ' being ", but when went back to post after correcting the spelling, I noticed the ' had fixed themselves back to ' as should be. BUT, a couple of times when I back arrowed to correct that, my typed post disappeared leaving a blank box. I learned my lesson after that that now I always drag my mouse over my post, turning it blue, then copy it before moving forward...as an ounce of prevention.
