Last week, I heard one business report suggest $4.50 in Spring. The next day, another business report suggested a lower $4.00 in Spring. This week, I heard $5.00 by Memorial Day.
All I have to say, is that with the economy being down as it already is, that an increased cost in fuel prices will mean additional increases in the cost of products and services that will get passed on to end users, whom then will cut back on purchasing lots of things that we will have to do without, which will cause layoffs of the people that make those goods or provide those services, and if that happens, I can think of at least one guy that will be mud later in the year, guaranteed, but that's all that I will say about that guy whom I will not name here. Call it...bitter sweet, so to speak. I won't go into it, but there are some rising factors beginning to play out in the middle east that will almost guarantee $4.00 - $5.00 per gallon, and...mud, absolutely mud.
