I am kinda disappointed that we are being forced to sell some of our farmland for state hyway expansion. However I realize the other solution would be to drive less and I don't want to do that either. That being said, we have the technology to send an unmanned grain cart out to meet combine and follow along combine till full and return to truck. Also I have seen the video of the unmanned planter going around the ends and planting the field. Do you think we could equip vehicles with gps and program it to take you to your destination and every vehicle on the road would be equally equipped? We could then have them go down the hyway very close to one another and move many times more people and product around with less roads. No accidents, no start and stop traffic. Every thing in unicen flowing perfectly. Would this concept work? How far in the future before we would have the necessary technology in place or do we already have it? I am not at all versed in gps technology and I struggle with the basics on computer use so much so that I am pressing my limits to just post messages on this forum.
