Debating between thu-the-wall or straight out the roof. The only thing holding me back from the roof route is that we don't plan on living in this place forever, when we find a farm we are out of here. And when we move I don't really want to worry about repairing the roof (its the FIL [we rent the ground but own the trailer and the shed is included in the rent]) when we leave. If I were to do the thru-the-wall I would like to stay inside the shed until almost the roof line. But, all of the thru-the-wall chimneys I see are set up to go through the wall not much higher than the stove. Is there a reason for this? Does it get a better draft with the 90's near the stove? Or is it for ease of cleaning with the 90's within reach with a ladder?
