EXCELLENT guns by the way.Some russian guns during and before ww2 were built in the remington factory here in the states.And reminton are selling their guns now under the spartan brand name.These make excellent guns for a youngster,ive given every one of the boys in my family one over the years when they were old enough.Much better in my opinion than the hammer type guns for young shooters,simply because the may not let the hammer fall while cocking.Not such a big deal nowdays with the hammer blocks but some of the older guns it was.For a single shot ,i personally dont think you will find much better.Well worth the money.
