Nevermind about the wood question below. Could I filter this oil to say 5 microns or so and blend it with the #2 for my furnace? What concentration could I use? My tank is in the basement so warmth isn't a problem. Would it burn clean or hot enough? Is 5 microns finer than necessary? I don't have any diesel tractors or trucks, but I that thing in my basement sure is thirsty. Oh, furnace is 10 years old and has electronic arc ignition. Beckett unit.
