Dec of 2010 I decided to quit. I didn't like spending more for cigs at the grocery store than for food.I got the patches from the VA. On 1 Dec I took 10 cigs out of a pack and laid them on the Kitchen counter. My goal was to smoke only 10 a day, and keep lowering it. I didn't carry a lighter or cigs anywhere had to get one from the kitchen. I would "cheat and not have one until 2 pm so I couls have more in the evening. In two weeks I was down to 6 a day, Then by Christmas, 3 a day. I planned on quitting on 1 Jan but Christmas I said well I can do without 3 a day so I started on the patches. Haven't had a cigarette since. I put $5 a day in a jar and it's still in the bookcase and there is over 1900 dollars in there. I'm waiting til I have 5000 there for a really nice Parker or AH Fox double shotgun. And it will be a FREEBIE!

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
