I feel the need to respond. I have a 1965 JD 2010 on propane that runs beautifully and has strong hydraulics. The general opinion is the early tractors before serial number 42000 had many issues that needed correcting but after this, they were a reliable tractor. The diesels are hard starting no matter what year. I had an early 2010 gasoline tractor that had the whole top of the rearend case broken off due to catastrophic hydraulic failure under the seat that had been welded and repaired.
The sleeve decks were still available up to a few years ago but other parts are getting scarce. The more of these 2010's that get junked the rarer the good ones get.
