Same potato situation here. Planted early. grew fast and furious, then wilted and ani-mules of all sorts were digging them up in July, so we humans had to. very few big ones. My Russian neighbors, potato conisuers, dig them up in July every year, but theirs are always a good size. I am a good spy, but I can't figure it out. Seems they are planting too close, in miserable dirt, or maybe that's the trick? This time, no tiller, just plow and harrow, see if Ukrainian style clumpy soil helps. Around here, clams would go in that pot too, looks good!
