Do you have a CAV pump? If so, most time they are leaking around the throttle shaft and cut-off shaft. Use engine cleaner and water hose and really clean the entire pump spotless. When dry, start tractor and use a paper towel (blue is best) and trace down the leak BEFORE you let the whole pump get wet again. If around the shafts, post back. Tom
