My ancesters on my mothers side came to North Carolina on comission from the Crown, when the powers that be changed in England they ran to the wilderness. On my dads side they came from England as well, the second son of the family. The eldest son got land and title, the second son was got a ticket to Virginia. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
