I don't know where to post this but here, I can't find an Off Topic page. I'm having to replace the pump at my sons house. It's a deep well, 225' with the pump set at about 190', I THINK, my Dad installed it and he's passed away. I had just replaced the dang thing about 18-24 months ago. I think the pump was warrantied for 3 years, but the well guy that replaced it has too passed away. Anyone got an opinion of what brand to look for or for any brands to stay away from? I don't wanna to have to do this again real soon. Thanks for any help. Tim

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
