Check, the 265/70 might of been an option, however it might of been with a different suspension or gear ratio. If you go to an on-line tire comparison chart it shows the circumference of the larger tire to be about 5 1/4 inches greater. Your observed mileage will be lower, because on each revolution of the tire you'll be going an additional 5 inches or about 5.25% more. The larger tire will increase the height of your truck higher usually means more wind resistance=less mileage per gallon, don't know if it's enough to be significant. Don't know about rolling resistance but that can vary on different tire models in the same size. Don't know where the larger tire will move you on the engine's torque band but 5% isn't that great.
