Hey all,
I was going through my computer deleting unneeded files and organizing pics and came across some old jokes I had written up. Here's a list of classified ad definitions I put together a couple years back -
Definitions of classified ad words
Ran when parked – All the oil ran out after it was parked.
Gone through the shop – We opened both doors and drove/ towed it straight through the building.
Always shedded – Drug it from the pasture into a shed two weeks ago. –Or- been in a lean with no sides and no roof.
Needs some work – Needs a ride to the scrapper
Extra parts included – These are the pieces left over after I tore apart the engine and put it back together.
Implements included – You get a baler with no needles, a rake with no teeth, a plow with no moldboards, and a cultivator with no shanks.
Thumbs up – If you stand far enough away that you can cover it with a thumb at arms length, it looks great.
One-of-a-kind – You’ll never again see one as ugly and broken as this one.
Cash only – I want no evidence of ever owning this thing.
Rare – …???(This is an obscure archaic word; no one really understands what it means. Many seem to think it means “common”)
X out of 10 – For every ten dollars I’m asking, put $X back in your pocket and we’ll be closer to what it is worth.
OBO – (an obscure archaic acronym, many believe it to mean “nothing less than this” in surrealist dialect)
Can deliver – As long as it doesn’t require me to drive more then ten miles.
A-1 – bring some steak sauce because this heap is DONE!
