I thought I might have to wear my barn boots to dinner at the OutBack, last night, but decided to try the moccison house slippers instead. Those slippers felt funny, but I shuffeled along, in them, and got along ok. Oct 27th I was putting rolled roofing,on an old hog shead, and walked off the roof backwards, landed standing up on that hard summer baked ground, and crumbled my right heel bone. After I got the cumbersome splint boot off, in December, I needed something to wear for feeding the cows. The only thing that I could get that swolen ankle in , was my barn boots, and had to split the rear open for about 10" from the sole to above the ankle. I have been wearing them every day outside, and change to my slippers in the house. even attended 3 different equipment auctions in my barn boots this winter. The wife had a birthday, and wanted to have a birthday dinner at the OutBack, so I took her there for Primerib last night. Ralph Buchanan I am a Morgan Co. Illinois, Buchanan Where are you from Brad?
